The Escali Infrared Surface and Folding Probe Digital Thermometer combines dual surface and probe utility with a compact design. It’s the ultimate digital food thermometer for chefs looking for versatility and portability.

This two-in-one folding thermometer can quickly switch between IR mode and probe mode. It’s simple to measure the surface temperature of a grill grate, then switch to probe mode to measure the internal temperature of meat. IR technology and a 1.8mm stainless steel probe design allow quick and accurate readings in either mode.

In IR mode, the 5:1 distance to target ratio provides safety when measuring extremely hot surfaces. The Scan and Hold function helps you hone in on specific areas by holding the measurement button to scan an area then releasing when you’ve identified a specific spot. 

The folding probe design can be used from 45°-180° to measure in a variety of cooking situations, and allows the probe to be easily stored. The large backlit display offers clear viewing in all conditions, and the auto off feature saves battery life.
